101 with Ember Mae

Want to launch a Kickstarter, but not sure where to begin?

We’re excited to introduce a new option within our larger Kickstart Together cohort: Kickstarter 101 with Ember Mae!

This free course was created exclusively for the Author Nation community and is designed to help first-time Kickstarter creators move from idea to launch with guidance, structure, accountability, and momentum.

How the Live Cohort Works

After completing the introductory material in Module 1, the course transitions into a six-week live cohort focused on implementation, accountability, and meaningful progress.

The live cohort will meet weekly for six sessions from June 15–July 27 on Mondays from 6:00–7:00 PM CDT.

Each week includes:

• Live guidance and instruction

• Dedicated Q&A time

• Actionable homework assignments

• Accountability and progress check-ins

This is not a passive watch-and-leave course. Participants will actively build, research, and develop their campaigns throughout the program.

By the End of the Course

Participants will leave with:

• A stronger understanding of Kickstarter strategy

• A developed campaign draft and launch direction

• Greater confidence navigating the platform

• A roadmap from campaign idea to fulfillment

Because this is a hands-on implementation cohort, space is intentionally limited to ensure participants receive live support, accountability, and feedback throughout the course.
