We are the largest author education event in the United States and focus on independent entrepreneurs looking to build their best lives through telling stories and getting paid by the people they delight.
Our three-year mission is to scale our RAVE reader event into the largest multi-genre reader experience in the world, giving you one place to get the best author education and find your reader tribe.

We only assumed liability for the contracts held by Craig Martelle Inc. for the space, room block, and food & beverage spend with Caesars Resorts.
We do not endorse or oppose the philosophy and teaching of that group or any other group seeking to help authors.
This was a tough choice. Customer satisfaction is a key focus of Author Nation.
Here is what was involved in our decision:
1. We mainly rely on a volunteer support team in AV, which has consistently expressed that livestreaming is the most troublesome part of their job. We must listen to and respect them if we want them to keep doing this work.
2. We believe that by separating the live and remote experiences and handling the video component at a later time with virtual support, we can deliver a better overall experience for everyone.
3. Our programming in 2024 will be structured differently, with tracks and domains of knowledge to address the overwhelming feedback we received about what guests sought from the event. We are concerned about trying to do both things in the first year and feel our resources are better focused on getting the programming right. Remote attendees will still get that benefit through the videos. It just won’t be live.
4. While we had a vocal group expressing the need, no one volunteered to contribute a solution or help.

Our Industry Expo on Monday will add tech-related sessions that day, run into the evening, and change the layout.
We will also expand the variety of vendors to expose authors to other powerful tools and services used by other content creators.
Do you have enough readers?
We have a plan to solve that problem.
Differentiated seating is a crucial component of our strategy to create a reader community you can connect with to find your tribe.
The only real impact will be on the Thursday night keynote. This session is a transition event to which readers will be invited, and we officially kick off RAVE.
We have decided to block off seating in the main showroom and provide special seating closer to the stage. This decision reduces overall show revenue but allows us to identify readers who have a high willingness to pay.
In doing so, we will create a multi-day event to market along with Las Vegas as a destination to attract people who enjoy reading books. We will have speakers who embody the indie spirit and have massive reach in pop culture and entertainment.
We also want to give authors attending RAVE the ability to design an experience for their readers where they can invite fans to sit with them and watch Kevin Smith. That could be a dream come true for one of your super fans.
Giving authors with larger audiences this ability will incentivize them to come to the show and bring their best fans. The keynote and other premier reader events will attract the best readers for you to expose your books to during RAVE.

Readers & Authors Vegas Event (RAVE) is our reader community event that runs Thursday evening through Friday evening. It features a book fair, signing, panels, and get-togethers for authors and readers to interact.
If you would like a table at RAVE, you must be a live ticket holder and indicate your interest in a table. When purchasing your ticket, highlight your interest in having a table at RAVE by ticking “I’m interested in having a table.”
Please note that a table is not guaranteed. Due to space limitations, we will curate a diverse mix of authors by genre and experience.
If you are invited to do so, booking a full table will cost $175 and a half table will cost $125. Both will include lunch.

We are reinvesting our profits into scaling up the reader event. Author Nation has a three-year mission to create the world’s largest multi-genre reader event where authors can connect with their readers in person.
There is no better connection than a face-to-face one where you and your reader can build a lifetime bond. It gives you control and certainty over future revenues.
We will run coordinated campaigns with our RAVE authors to draw the best readers and listeners from the western states to the easily accessible city of Las Vegas.
